LGCY Power is hiring an Install Electrician in Ontario, San Bernardino County. Join our installation team to bring residential solar systems to life—managing electrical infrastructure, ensuring code compliance, and supporting Southern California's clean energy transition. Full-time position.
About the Role
As an Install Electrician with LGCY Power, you'll be a core member of our installation crew, responsible for the safe and correct installation of electrical service equipment, wiring, and components that power residential solar energy systems. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will directly impact the quality and reliability of systems installed across the region.
What You'll Do
- Install electrical wiring, disconnect switches, breakers, and service equipment according to blueprints and system specifications
- Mount and connect electrical components for residential solar installations, following manufacturer guidelines and best practices
- Inspect electrical equipment and connections to verify proper installation and identify any issues before system activation
- Verify that all installed systems meet current electrical codes, building codes, and safety standards required by local authorities
- Communicate with the installation team to coordinate work schedules, report progress, and address any technical challenges on-site
- Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA protocols, wearing required personal protective equipment, and adhering to company safety policies
- Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of electrical systems to ensure proper function
What We're Looking For
- Valid California electrician license or equivalent credentials (C-10 certification or higher preferred)
- Demonstrated experience installing electrical systems in residential settings
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, wiring methods, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical schematics
- Experience working with solar or renewable energy installations is a plus
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Ontario and surrounding areas
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and work at heights safely
