Construction Manager, Lease – Data Center Construction

Meta is hiring a Construction Manager specializing in Lease Data Center Construction to oversee the delivery and buildout of colocation and build-to-suit data center facilities in Five Points, Wake County. This is a full-time position where you'll represent Meta's interests throughout the construction lifecycle of leased infrastructure assets that support the company's global operations.

About the Role

As Meta's primary construction representative on data center lease projects, you'll manage the oversight and delivery of shell-and-core construction, critical infrastructure systems, and tenant improvement work. You'll serve as the liaison between Meta, landlords, contractors, and infrastructure partners, ensuring every project aligns with specifications, timelines, budgets, and operational requirements.

What You'll Do

• Oversee construction activities on colocation and build-to-suit data center projects from planning through completion
• Coordinate landlord-delivered construction, including shell, core, and critical infrastructure systems installation
• Manage tenant improvement scope and execution to support Meta's infrastructure buildout
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality standards throughout construction phases
• Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with construction specifications and building codes
• Interface with contractors, vendors, engineers, and landlord teams to resolve construction challenges
• Track change orders, submittals, and construction documentation
• Ensure critical systems—power, cooling, networking infrastructure—are built to Meta's standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably data center or mission-critical facilities
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, budgeting, and scheduling
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure systems in data center environments
• Ability to manage relationships with contractors, landlords, and multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under tight timelines
• Detail-oriented approach to quality assurance and compliance
• Experience with construction documentation and project management tools
