Loiseau Construction is seeking a Project Supervisor to join our team in South Dakota. This is a full-time position overseeing construction and development operations for a company that has built the landscape of South Dakota for nearly five decades.
About the Role
As Project Supervisor, you'll lead daily operations on active job sites, ensuring projects move forward safely, on schedule, and to specification. You'll manage crew coordination, equipment deployment, and quality standards while representing Loiseau Construction's commitment to excellence in construction and earth-moving services throughout South Dakota.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and coordinate construction crews and equipment operators on assigned projects
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to keep work on track
- Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance across all job site activities
- Inspect work quality and materials to maintain Loiseau Construction's standards
- Communicate project updates and issues with management and stakeholders
- Manage daily logistics, scheduling, and site preparation
- Train and mentor crew members on procedures and safety requirements
What We're Looking For
- Proven supervisory or lead experience in construction, earth-moving, or heavy equipment operations
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate or oversee heavy equipment
- Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliability and commitment to on-time project delivery
