Equipment Operator – NON-UNION

Utilities Service, LLC is hiring a full-time Equipment Operator to join our crew in Eller, Forsyth County. In this non-union role, you'll operate heavy machinery to clear vegetation from electrical infrastructure, keeping utility lines safe and functional across the region.

About the Role

As an Equipment Operator, you'll be the skilled hand behind the controls of specialized heavy equipment, removing tree branches, limbs, and debris from electrical lines and right-of-way corridors. This is hands-on, team-based work that directly supports the reliability of electrical service to thousands of homes and businesses. You'll work outdoors in varied conditions, operating equipment with precision and safety as top priorities.

What You'll Do

• Operate heavy equipment including chippers, bucket trucks, and related machinery to remove vegetation near power lines
• Follow established safety protocols and industry best practices to prevent hazards and protect infrastructure
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work in the field
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to keep machinery in working order
• Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently
• Work flexible hours including potential early starts and overtime during peak seasons

What We're Looking For
