Healix Infusion Therapy is looking for a part-time Medical Administrative Assistant in Piney Point Village, Harris County. Work Monday through Thursday in our Memorial City-area infusion therapy practice, where you'll support patients receiving specialized infectious disease treatment.
About the Role
Join our healthcare team as a Medical Administrative Assistant and make a direct impact on patient experiences in our specialized infusion clinic. This part-time position blends administrative excellence with compassionate patient support, helping our nursing staff and infectious disease physicians deliver quality care in a focused, professional environment.
What You'll Do
- Greet and register patients and caregivers, managing the check-in process smoothly
- Provide assistance and support to patients during infusion therapy visits
- Coordinate with our nursing team to keep patient flow efficient and organized
- Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and attention to confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and manage clinic calendars
- Answer patient questions and provide information about infusion therapy treatments
- Support caregivers throughout the patient visit process
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical office or healthcare administrative experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain professional, calm, and compassionate in a clinical setting
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Reliable, with ability to work Monday–Thursday schedule
- Understanding of the importance of patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
