Take 5 Oil Change is looking for an experienced Shop Manager to lead our team at Shop8 in New Orleans, Orleans Parish. This is a full-time opportunity to manage a fast-paced oil change service facility committed to expert work, friendly customer care, and operational excellence.

About the Role

You'll oversee daily operations at this busy location on Gen. DeGaulle Drive, directing a team of technicians while maintaining the service quality and customer experience that have built our reputation over more than three decades. Your leadership will directly shape both how smoothly the shop runs and how valued each customer feels.

What You'll Do

• Direct daily shop operations and enforce service quality and safety standards
• Hire, train, and lead technician and customer service team members
• Build and manage schedules to balance efficiency with customer volume
• Oversee supplies, equipment, and inventory management
• Ensure all personnel follow safety protocols and procedural guidelines
• Monitor performance and work toward operational and financial goals
• Resolve customer concerns and maintain strong customer relationships
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and professionally maintained

What We're Looking For

• Documented management experience, ideally in automotive service or quick-service environments
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Working knowledge of oil change and automotive maintenance operations
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
