About the Role
As a CDL A OTR Reefer Driver, you'll operate refrigerated tractor-trailers across the continental United States, hauling time-sensitive loads that require temperature control and professional handling. This is a full-time position with consistent freight availability driven by ongoing customer growth within our network.
What You'll Do
- Operate Class 8 refrigerated semi-trucks on long-distance routes, maintaining safe and efficient driving practices
- Monitor and maintain proper trailer temperature settings throughout transit to preserve cargo integrity
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Manage electronic logging devices (ELDs) and maintain compliance with FMCSA Hours of Service regulations
- Deliver loads on schedule while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and cargo securement tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record and current medical certification
- Minimum experience operating reefer units or refrigerated trailers
- Ability to pass DOT background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and professional customer service orientation
- Reliability and self-motivation for independent over-the-road operations
- Willingness to stay current with industry regulations and safety standards
