About the Role
You'll work up to 40 hours per week alongside our communications professionals, contributing to client projects and supporting day-to-day operations. TrailRunner International helps organizations navigate complex communications landscapes, and interns are integral to that mission.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research, competitive analysis, and strategy support for client assignments
- Draft, edit, and proofread communications materials under professional mentorship
- Support communications coordination across multiple client engagements
- Manage administrative tasks, scheduling, and project tracking
- Contribute ideas in brainstorms, strategy sessions, and team meetings
- Assist with media outreach, content development, and communications execution
- Learn and apply current best practices in strategic communications and client service
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business, journalism, or related field
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to balance multiple priorities
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a dynamic consulting environment
- Genuine commitment to supporting team and client success
- Professional presence and willingness to take initiative on assignments
- Experience or demonstrated ability in research and information analysis

Internship Details
This is a full-time, in-office internship based at our Manhattan headquarters in Greeley Square. The firm maintains additional offices in Dallas/Fort Worth, Nashville, and Truckee, California. Interns commit to a full-time schedule throughout the fall term.
