About the Role

As Manager of Public Relations, you'll develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies that elevate AMC Networks' presence in the media landscape, with audiences, and within the industry. You'll serve as a trusted voice for the company, managing relationships with journalists, industry analysts, and key stakeholders while amplifying our original content and corporate mission.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with media contacts, journalists, and industry publications to secure high-value coverage and thought leadership opportunities
• Develop press releases, media kits, and communications materials that tell compelling stories about our content, networks, and corporate initiatives
• Manage communications during critical moments, coordinating cross-functional responses and protecting brand reputation
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to leadership
• Coordinate with internal teams across content, marketing, and corporate divisions to ensure consistent messaging
• Identify and activate PR opportunities tied to new releases, corporate announcements, and industry events

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of public relations, corporate communications, or related experience, preferably in media, entertainment, or technology
• Proven ability to write clear, compelling copy under tight deadlines
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with media and executive stakeholders
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution and attention to detail
• Experience managing communications in high-profile or crisis situations
• Knowledge of current media landscape, social platforms, and digital communications trends
