About the Role
SPAR, Inc. is seeking experienced assembly technicians to support furniture setup and customer service at our West Layton location. As a Furniture Assembly Tech, you'll take ownership of projects from start to finish, delivering quality workmanship that keeps customers satisfied and our showroom operating efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Assemble office furniture and products according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements
- Perform on-site installation and setup services at customer locations throughout Davis County
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and verify product functionality before customer handoff
- Maintain organized work areas and manage tools and materials responsibly
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet expectations
- Inspect completed work for quality and safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in furniture assembly, installation, or related technical work
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret assembly instructions and technical diagrams
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Self-motivated approach with ability to manage your own schedule independently
- Reliable transportation to service customer locations in the West Layton and Davis County area
