About the Role
As a Dishwasher at Immanuel Village, you'll be an important part of our food service team, ensuring that all dishware, glassware, cooking equipment, and dining utensils are clean, sanitized, and ready for use. Located at 6803 North 68th Plaza in Omaha, Immanuel Village is a vibrant senior living community featuring 99 independent living apartments and 36 assisted living residences. Your work directly supports the dining experience of our residents and the daily operations of our professional kitchen.
What You'll Do
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper maintenance and operation
- Sort, handle, and organize dinnerware and utensils for efficient storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room and surrounding kitchen areas
- Follow health and safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and dining staff to support meal service
- Transport and organize clean items for kitchen and dining use
What We're Looking For
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items safely
- Reliable attendance and commitment to a full-time position
- Willingness to follow sanitation and safety procedures
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Basic communication skills and ability to respond to direction
