VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition Operations for our Pico Heights, Los Angeles County location. This full-time leadership role oversees the recruitment operations function, driving strategic improvements to hiring processes and systems that support talent acquisition at scale across our organization.
About the Role
Lead the talent acquisition operations team in designing and executing efficient hiring workflows that serve the organization's growth and staffing goals. You'll own the strategy, technology implementation, and continuous improvement of TA processes, ensuring alignment between recruitment goals and operational delivery.
What You'll Do
- Manage talent acquisition technology platforms including Phenom, Workday, and LinkedIn to streamline recruiting workflows and reporting
- Develop and execute recruitment marketing initiatives that attract high-quality candidates
- Build and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Design metrics and reporting frameworks to measure hiring effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR leadership to understand staffing needs and deliver scalable solutions
- Lead process optimization efforts to reduce time-to-hire and improve candidate experience
- Manage budgets, vendors, and resources related to TA operations and recruitment technology
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition operations or recruitment operations management
- Proven expertise with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and recruiting technology
- Strong analytical and project management skills with ability to drive data-informed decisions
- Experience developing recruitment marketing strategies and employer branding initiatives
- Track record leading teams and managing organizational change
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
