About the Role
As a Cardiovascular Technologist RCIS at Methodist Health System, you'll provide essential technical support during invasive cardiac procedures. Working under the guidance of physicians and your supervisor, you'll help ensure each patient receives expert care while maintaining the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
What You'll Do
- Assist physicians with the technical components of invasive cardiovascular procedures
- Support the preparation and management of procedure equipment and instruments
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to protocol during cardiac interventions
- Maintain strict adherence to sterility and safety standards in the cardiac laboratory
- Document procedure details and patient information accurately
- Collaborate with the cardiology team to ensure efficient, safe patient care
What We're Looking For
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a science emphasis, OR equivalent healthcare experience demonstrating cardiovascular technical competency
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential or equivalent certification in cardiovascular technology
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team
- Professional communication skills and a patient-focused mindset
