About the Role
As a part-time Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Belton Regional Medical Center, you'll work in an acute-care environment where clinical expertise and quick thinking directly impact patient care. You'll deliver immediate, high-quality care to patients in critical need, from initial assessment through treatment and disposition.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Respond quickly to patient needs and changes in clinical status
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and discharge instructions
- Support a safe, organized, and clean emergency department environment
What We're Looking For
- Current, active RN license in good standing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Emergency nursing experience or demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced settings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Compassion, adaptability, and resilience under pressure
- Current CPR certification and commitment to maintaining certifications
