Sound Seal Inc is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to lead new business development across the South and Southwest. Based in Grand Prairie, Dallas, you'll drive revenue growth through strategic prospecting and account expansion across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Alabama.
About the Role
This full-time, exempt position focuses on building the sales pipeline and closing net-new customer accounts. You'll be an energetic business developer who thrives on identifying opportunities, engaging prospects early in their buying journey, and displacing competitors. Success requires direct involvement in prospecting, relationship building, and specification capture to establish Sound Seal Inc as the vendor of choice in your territory.
What You'll Do
- Prospect systematically across your eight-state territory to identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Develop and manage the pipeline of potential accounts from initial contact through close
- Capture specifications and technical requirements to position Sound Seal Inc solutions effectively
- Engage customers early in their decision process and build long-term relationships
- Compete aggressively for accounts, differentiating Sound Seal Inc in the marketplace
- Achieve regional revenue targets through consistent new account acquisition
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer success
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales track record in business development or new account acquisition
- Strong prospecting and cold outreach skills with resilience and persistence
- Ability to understand customer needs and position solutions competitively
- Self-directed work style with minimal supervision required
- Territory management experience across multiple states or a large geographic region
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Willingness to travel within your territory as needed
