About the Role
Dinges Fire Company seeks an experienced sales professional to manage customer relationships across assigned accounts and geographic areas in the Minnesota fire and EMS market. This part-time position focuses on building lasting partnerships with emergency responders while ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to their success and safety.
What You'll Do
- Execute proactive sales outreach to fire departments, emergency medical services, and related agencies throughout Park Rapids and Hubbard County
- Cultivate strong partnerships with fire chiefs, officers, EMS directors, and procurement decision-makers
- Present products and services that address the operational needs of emergency response teams
- Maintain accurate account records, track customer activity, and manage sales opportunities
- Coordinate product delivery and ensure service quality meets customer expectations
- Represent Dinges Fire Company with professionalism and industry expertise in the local market
What We're Looking For
- Sales experience in fire service, emergency services, or industrial equipment preferred
- Strong relationship-building skills and comfort navigating multi-level organizational decision-making
- Familiarity with fire department operations and EMS procurement processes a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the territory
- Flexibility and commitment appropriate to a part-time schedule
