Storage Mart is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager to lead customer service and facility operations at our Cottleville location in Saint Charles County, O'Fallon, MO. This position offers $16.00 per hour and the opportunity to grow your leadership skills in a fast-paced retail environment.
About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you'll support our management team in ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional customer experiences, and the highest standards of cleanliness and security at our O'Fallon self-storage facility. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused setting and wants to develop their leadership abilities.
What You'll Do
- Assist with day-to-day facility operations and team scheduling
- Welcome customers, answer storage-related questions, and process rental agreements
- Handle payments and cash transactions accurately and securely
- Maintain pristine cleanliness throughout the facility
- Monitor security systems and building conditions
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and courteously
- Support marketing efforts and promotional activities
- Perform opening and closing procedures as assigned
- Assist with unit maintenance and inventory management
What We're Looking For
- Customer service experience in retail or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Commitment to maintaining clean, organized environments
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
- Cash handling experience a plus
