You'll contribute to testing backend services that power fleet operations for a cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology company, ensuring systems perform reliably at scale.
About the Role
As a Test Engineer, you'll work within a collaborative QA team focused on validating the backend infrastructure that keeps fleets operational. This is a full-time position where your attention to detail, analytical thinking, and team-focused approach directly impact the quality and stability of critical systems.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans for backend services supporting fleet operations
- Perform functional, integration, and system testing to identify defects and verify system behavior
- Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to understand system requirements and validate implementations
- Analyze test results, document findings, and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues identified during testing, working with developers to drive resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience testing backend services, APIs, or distributed systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, or demonstrated ability to learn them quickly
- Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, or test management platforms
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting and discussing technical findings
- A proactive mindset and genuine interest in collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
