iOS Engineer-Apple TV

Apple is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer specializing in Apple TV development to join our tvOS Ecosystem team in Monte Vista, Santa Clara County. You'll design and build software that powers the Apple TV experience, collaborating with world-class engineers to strengthen ideas and create products used by millions.

About the Role

As an iOS Engineer focused on Apple TV, you'll work at the intersection of hardware and software, crafting experiences that define how people interact with entertainment and home automation. The tvOS Ecosystem team drives innovation across Apple TV and HomePod, two cornerstone products in Apple's vision for seamless living. This is a full-time position based in Monte Vista, where you'll contribute to every layer of the tvOS platform.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and optimize tvOS applications and frameworks that deliver responsive, intuitive experiences
• Collaborate across engineering teams to integrate new features and improve existing functionality
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to elevate team quality standards
• Debug complex issues across hardware, system software, and application layers
• Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of the Apple TV platform
• Work with cross-functional teams including design, product, and QA to refine user experiences

What We're Looking For

• Strong foundation in iOS and tvOS development with proficiency in Swift or Objective-C
• Experience building user-facing applications and understanding of UI/UX principles
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to performance and user experience details
• Experience with tvOS, watchOS, or other Apple platforms is a plus
