Senior Cyber Security Analyst

We're seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead our security operations and safeguard the digital platforms that manage water resources across our organization.

About the Role

As Senior Cyber Security Analyst at Trinnex, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security strategies for our cloud-based water management platform. You'll work at the intersection of operational technology and cybersecurity, protecting IoT sensors, geospatial data systems, and machine learning infrastructure that powers our solutions. This is a full-time position based in our North Hill, Summit County office.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs to detect security threats, anomalies, and potential intrusions
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across our digital infrastructure
• Lead incident response efforts, including threat investigation, containment, and remediation
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security controls into our IoT and sensor-based systems
• Manage identity and access controls, ensuring appropriate authorization across platforms and data repositories
• Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies affecting water resource management systems

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead analyst role
• Strong knowledge of network security, threat detection, and incident response protocols
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) platforms
• Proficiency in vulnerability management and penetration testing methodologies
• Certification such as CISSP, CEH, CCNA Security, or equivalent professional credential
• Familiarity with cloud security architectures and IoT security best practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical security concepts for non-technical stakeholders
