Principal Mobile CNO Engineer

Nightwing is seeking a Principal Mobile CNO Engineer to lead mobile cyber network operations initiatives at our Redstone Arsenal, Madison County location. As a Principal-level technologist, you'll drive the architecture, development, and deployment of advanced mobile solutions that directly support our most critical national security missions.

About the Role

The Principal Mobile CNO Engineer will oversee mobile platform strategy and execution within our cyber operations division. You'll combine deep technical expertise with leadership responsibility, guiding teams through complex mobile architecture decisions and ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards for security, scalability, and operational effectiveness.

What You'll Do

• Design and architect mobile-first solutions for cyber network operations, data intelligence, and systems integration
• Lead development of secure mobile applications supporting surveillance, vulnerability research, and operational mission delivery
• Establish technical standards and best practices for mobile security, ensuring resilience against emerging threats
• Mentor engineering teams on mobile platform decisions, code quality, and operational deployment patterns
• Collaborate across our cyber defense, data operations, and mission support organizations to integrate mobile capabilities into full-spectrum solutions
• Drive continuous modernization of mobile infrastructure to support evolving national security requirements

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of mobile application development with significant experience in secure, mission-critical environments
• Proven leadership at the principal or staff level, guiding technical strategy and architecture
• Expert knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS, Android, or both) and deep understanding of mobile security
• Strong background in cyber operations, cyber defense, or related national security domains
• Experience with full-spectrum integration across multiple technical domains and operational workflows
• Secret clearance or higher (ability to obtain is acceptable)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
