About the Role

Northwest Hills Chevrolet GMC Cadillac is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to provide expert mechanical and electrical service to our customers' vehicles. You'll work with modern diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues, ensuring every repair meets manufacturer specifications and customer expectations. This is a full-time position that values precision, safety, and quality workmanship.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine problems using industry-standard diagnostic equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and inspections
• Repair or replace vehicle components including brakes, suspension, transmission, and cooling systems
• Test repairs and conduct quality inspections to verify work meets standards
• Document all work performed and communicate findings clearly with service advisors and customers
• Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer service bulletins
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and proper tool inventory

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Proven experience as an automotive technician or in a related mechanical field
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair procedures
• ASE certification or equivalent technical credential preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and professional conduct
