About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician I at Cargill's Food & Beverage facility, you'll be essential to our operational success. You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the equipment and systems that power our production lines, working directly to ensure reliability, minimize downtime, and support our commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality products to our customers.
What You'll Do
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections on production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to restore functionality quickly and safely
- Follow established maintenance schedules and safety protocols to support reliable operations
- Document maintenance activities and equipment performance to track operational health
- Collaborate with operations and production teams to coordinate maintenance efforts and minimize production interruptions
- Support facility compliance with safety and operational standards
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or prior maintenance experience is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
- Physical capability to perform hands-on maintenance work and work in a manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work productively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in food and beverage manufacturing maintenance
