About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll be the backbone of our Residential Services program, delivering daily support that enables the people we serve to thrive. You'll champion AHRC Nassau's mission and values in every interaction, helping residents maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Support residents with self-care activities, personal hygiene, and grooming routines
• Promote health and safety in daily living situations and community activities
• Assist with household tasks and life skills including meal preparation and home maintenance
• Encourage socialization and participation in community engagement and recreational activities
• Support overall wellbeing through daily interaction and individualized assistance
• Uphold AHRC Nassau's mission and guiding principles in all resident interactions
