Join Hammer & NER as a full-time Direct Support Professional in White Bear Lake, Ramsey County. This Non-Exempt hourly position offers variable shift schedules and the opportunity to support individuals across multiple program locations while making a meaningful difference every day.
About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide essential daily support to individuals served by our East Metro programs in the White Bear Lake area. Working varied shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays, you'll be cross-trained across multiple Hammer & NER locations to deliver consistent, compassionate care in a person-centered environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and health-related needs
- Support community engagement, social integration, and personal growth opportunities
- Implement individualized support plans aligned with participant goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with program supervision
- Work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Provide reliable, patient, and respectful support across multiple program settings
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive program environment
