Wolverine Human Services seeks an experienced Foster Care Supervisor to lead and support a dedicated team in Taylor, Michigan, Michigan. As a full-time, exempt supervisor, you'll play a critical leadership role in advancing our mission to help children and families achieve safety, stability, and lasting permanency. This position offers competitive compensation plus performance incentives, including up to $15,000 in annual performance bonuses.

About the Role

In this supervisory position, you'll oversee foster care services with a focus on positive outcomes for vulnerable children and their families. Your leadership will guide case managers in delivering high-quality services that prioritize child welfare and family reunification or appropriate placement permanency.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and mentor a team of foster care Case Managers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
• Review case documentation, service plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with child welfare standards and best practices
• Monitor caseload management, safety protocols, and placement stability across your team's cases
• Conduct training and skill-building sessions on foster care policy, permanency planning, and family engagement strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams, partner agencies, and court systems to support successful permanency outcomes
• Support case managers with complex cases, safety concerns, and community resource navigation
• Track performance metrics, outcomes data, and quality indicators for continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Experience in foster care, child welfare, or related human services field
• Demonstrated leadership experience supervising social workers, case managers, or equivalent professionals
• Knowledge of child welfare law, permanency planning, and evidence-based foster care practices
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Commitment to supporting children and families with empathy and cultural competence
• Bachelor's degree in social work, child development, or related field preferred
• Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
