About the Role
As a Drywall Finisher with PCI, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality wall and ceiling finishes on residential and commercial projects. Working from blueprints and measurements, you'll transform raw drywall installations into smooth, professional surfaces ready for paint and final decoration. Your skill directly impacts the appearance and quality of every project we build.
What You'll Do
- Tape drywall joints and seams using specialized tape and compounds
- Apply joint compound (mud) to create smooth transitions between drywall panels
- Sand finished surfaces to the specified level of smoothness and uniformity
- Skim coat drywall for premium finish requirements
- Perform quality checks to ensure work meets project specifications and standards
- Work safely on scaffolding and at various heights on job sites
- Coordinate with supervisors and crew members to maintain project timelines
What We're Looking For
- Experience with drywall taping, mudding, and finishing techniques
- Knowledge of drywall finishing standards and best practices
- Ability to read blueprints and work to precise measurements
- Physical capability to work on scaffolding and at heights
- Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and full-time availability
- Valid driver's license preferred
