About the Role
As a Land Surveyor with Fusco Engineering and Land Surveying, you'll conduct detailed land surveys, perform boundary investigations, and gather site data that engineers and developers rely on. Based at our Scotchtown Branch location in Orange County, this full-time position combines rigorous fieldwork with technical precision, ensuring every measurement and record meets professional standards and project requirements.
What You'll Do
- Conduct land surveys using established survey techniques and current procedures
- Perform field measurements, boundary work, and site observations
- Operate surveying instruments and technology in outdoor conditions
- Document findings, maintain records, and prepare survey data
- Coordinate with engineering teams and project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with surveying standards and professional practices
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated knowledge of survey techniques, procedures, and industry practices
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to stand, climb, and walk continuously throughout an 8-hour workday
- Capability to work in strenuous conditions across varying weather and climate
- Proficiency with computer systems and surveying software
- Strong organizational and judgment skills with attention to detail
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license a plus, not required
