Blue Castle Agency is hiring a full-time Property Manager to oversee operations at a newly built student housing community in Columbus, Ohio, situated directly across from The Ohio State University campus.
About the Role
You'll lead day-to-day operations and resident management at this 379-bed purpose-built student housing property. This is an opportunity to manage a modern, premium community featuring upscale finishes and lifestyle amenities designed specifically for the student market. The property's location provides direct access to OSU's campus and the surrounding academic community, making this a high-visibility asset in Columbus's competitive student housing market.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all operational aspects of the community, including resident relations, maintenance coordination, and lease administration
- Manage move-in, move-out, and renewal processes while maintaining strong resident satisfaction and retention
- Lead and supervise on-site staff, including maintenance and resident services teams
- Monitor budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial performance meets ownership goals
- Maintain community standards through regular inspections and quality assurance protocols
- Respond to resident concerns and resolve conflicts professionally and promptly
- Coordinate with ownership on strategic planning and community improvements
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing residential communities or similar multi-unit properties
- Strong knowledge of tenant relations, lease enforcement, and Ohio rental law
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with property management software and standard office tools
- Demonstrated leadership ability and team management experience
- Reliability and professional demeanor in high-interaction environments
