As the primary point of contact for prospective residents, you'll play an essential role in driving occupancy and creating a welcoming first impression for applicants considering our community.
About the Role
The Leasing Agent is responsible for marketing our available units, guiding prospective residents through the application and leasing process, and ensuring all required documentation and compliance procedures are completed accurately. You'll help maintain strong occupancy levels while contributing to a positive residential experience for current and future community members.
What You'll Do
- Meet with prospective residents and conduct community tours to showcase available units
- Market available units through various channels and highlight property features and amenities
- Guide applicants through the complete leasing process, from application to move-in
- Collect, review, and organize all required documentation and ensure compliance with leasing policies and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of applications, leases, and resident communications
- Answer inquiries about lease terms, rent, and community policies
- Support a welcoming and professional environment for residents and visitors
What We're Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to present units and community features persuasively
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple applications and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with leasing software and basic computer skills
- Reliable, professional demeanor and ability to work flexible hours
- Real estate or property management experience preferred
