About the Role

This full-time position centers on field-based property inspection work throughout Middlesex County. You'll drive to residential properties, conduct thorough assessments that support mortgage lending decisions, and maintain detailed records—all as an independent contractor with flexibility and autonomy in your daily schedule.

What You'll Do

• Execute residential property inspections at locations across Middlesex County and neighboring areas
• Gather and record property condition information according to company standards
• Manage your own schedule and route planning across the Edison and greater Middlesex area
• Communicate findings clearly to the FAR Inspections office and lending clients
• Maintain professional standards that ensure lending partners can rely on your assessments
• Build familiarity with residential neighborhoods and property conditions in your service area

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to work as an independent contractor
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with property owners and office staff
• Interest in residential real estate and property assessment
• Local residence in Edison or surrounding Middlesex County communities
