About the Role

As a Legal Proofreader, you'll serve as a quality guardian for RR Donnelley's legal document portfolio. Working during third shift hours, you'll review complex legal materials with a sharp eye for errors, inconsistencies, and compliance issues. Your expertise in language and eye for detail will ensure every document meets the highest standards before it reaches clients.

What You'll Do

• Review legal documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors
• Verify consistency in terminology, style, and document structure
• Identify and flag compliance issues and deviations from established guidelines
• Ensure legal documents adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide detailed feedback and corrections to support accuracy
• Collaborate with document preparation and editing teams

What We're Looking For

• Keen eye for detail and accuracy in written materials
• Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style
• Professional experience in editing, proofreading, copywriting, or related work
• Familiarity with legal document terminology and formatting conventions
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
• Background in English Literature, Creative Writing, Copywriting, or Professional Editing preferred
