About the Role
As Art Director, Global Creative, you'll lead the visual direction and conceptual development of campaigns that celebrate Sol de Janeiro's transformative beauty rituals and signature fragrances. Working at the intersection of art and commerce, you'll define how our brand appears across all creative touchpoints—from digital experiences to packaging to in-store environments—ensuring consistency and brilliance in every interaction.
What You'll Do
- Establish and evolve the creative vision for global campaigns, maintaining brand cohesion across markets while celebrating regional nuance
- Art direct photoshoots, video productions, and other creative assets that embody our sensory-forward positioning
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and product teams to develop integrated creative concepts
- Present strategic creative recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
- Oversee visual quality and brand consistency across all creative output and marketing channels
- Stay ahead of design trends and cultural movements to keep Sol de Janeiro's aesthetic fresh and competitive
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of art direction experience in beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands
- Proven portfolio demonstrating strong visual storytelling and campaign execution
- Expert knowledge of photography, typography, color theory, and visual composition
- Ability to translate brand strategy into compelling creative direction
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple projects simultaneously
