Litigation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan is hiring a full-time Litigation Paralegal in our Manhattan office to support our team of attorneys defending consumer rights across complex legal matters. As a core member of our litigation department, you'll play a vital role in helping clients stand against insurance companies, corporations, and defective product manufacturers who prioritize profits over people.

About the Role

Litigation Paralegals at Morgan & Morgan are the backbone of our case teams. You'll work directly with attorneys throughout the discovery, trial preparation, and settlement phases of litigation, ensuring every case receives meticulous attention and strategic organization from start to finish.

What You'll Do

• Conduct legal research using case law databases and develop written analysis to support attorney strategy
• Manage case documents, evidence, and discovery materials with precision and methodical organization
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and legal documents under attorney supervision
• Coordinate and attend depositions, taking detailed notes and organizing testimony records
• Manage witness and expert schedules, communicate case details, and maintain organized litigation files
• Review and organize discovery responses, identify key documents, and flag materials relevant to case theory
• Monitor court deadlines, filing requirements, and procedural compliance to protect case integrity
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination
• Handle sensitive client information with professionalism and maintain strict confidentiality

What We're Looking For

• Paralegal certificate, degree, or equivalent practical experience in litigation
• Proficiency with legal research platforms and litigation management software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel
• Exceptional organizational ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities simultaneously
• Knowledge of civil litigation procedures, discovery rules, and court requirements
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in legal documents and evidence management
