Childcare Curriculum Coordinator

The Nest Schools is hiring a Childcare Curriculum Coordinator in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County to lead educational programming and support our team in building best-in-class early childhood learning experiences. This is a full-time position with an organization dedicated to developing curious, resilient, and creative young learners.

About the Role

As Childcare Curriculum Coordinator at The Nest Schools, you'll serve as the educational backbone of our program, designing thoughtful, developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with our commitment to wellness, resilience, and creativity. You'll collaborate directly with classroom educators, families, and leadership to ensure every child receives exceptional early education grounded in evidence-based practices.

What You'll Do

• Develop, implement, and continuously refine curriculum frameworks across classrooms that promote academic growth, social-emotional development, and creative expression
• Provide training and coaching to educators on curriculum delivery, child observation, and assessment strategies
• Monitor child progress through meaningful assessments and adapt learning experiences to meet diverse developmental needs
• Build comprehensive learning environments that reflect diversity, inclusion, and cultural responsiveness
• Partner with families through communication about curriculum goals, classroom activities, and child development milestones
• Stay current with early childhood education research and best practices, bringing innovations to The Nest Schools
• Support classroom teams with resource development, professional development planning, and instructional guidance

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in early childhood education settings
• Deep knowledge of child development across ages 0–5 and familiarity with recognized curricula or frameworks
• Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and collaborative problem-solving with educators
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage meaningfully with families and staff
• Passion for wellness, resilience-building, and creative approaches to learning
