The Sales Lead at Chicos Fas plays a vital role in the daily success of our San Jose location. You'll collaborate with store management to ensure smooth operations, high customer satisfaction, and strong sales performance. Your leadership sets the tone for how the team engages with customers and manages the sales floor.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor store associates to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive shopping environment
- Manage sales transactions and point-of-sale operations with accuracy and efficiency
- Greet customers warmly and guide them through their shopping experience
- Address customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly
- Support store management with inventory management, merchandising, and daily operational tasks
- Contribute to store profitability goals through excellent customer engagement and consistent sales performance
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment
What We're Looking For
- Customer service excellence and genuine passion for helping customers find what they need
- Retail sales experience, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while taking initiative independently
- Cash handling and point-of-sale system proficiency
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Positive attitude and commitment to excellent service standards
