As a Lead Sales Associate at our Syracuse location, you'll be a trusted team member who combines excellent customer service with hands-on store operations. You'll work directly with customers to understand their needs, process transactions, and create positive shopping experiences that keep them coming back.

What You'll Do

• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist with product selection and purchasing decisions
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
• Support the store team by mentoring newer associates and answering questions about store procedures
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and product displays throughout your shift
• Help manage inventory, stock shelves, and ensure products are properly located and priced
• Contribute to a welcoming store environment where customers and team members feel valued
• Support opening and closing procedures as scheduled

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Proven customer service experience in a retail or similar setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand, lift merchandise, and be physically active throughout your shift
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward your work
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holiday periods
• Enthusiasm for helping others and representing Dollar General values
