Join UKG as a Strategic Advisor for State & Local Government Workforce Transformation. This is a full-time position in Tumwater, Thurston County, where you'll help government agencies modernize and optimize their workforce operations using leading-edge solutions.
About the Role
UKG partners with state and local government agencies to drive workforce modernization and operational excellence. As a Strategic Advisor, you will serve as a key strategic partner to public sector leaders, helping them navigate workforce transformation challenges and unlock new capabilities within their organizations. Your insights and guidance will directly impact how government agencies serve their employees and constituents.
What You'll Do
- Consult with state and local government leaders to assess workforce modernization needs and develop tailored strategic recommendations
- Analyze public sector workforce operations and identify opportunities for transformation and efficiency gains
- Guide government agencies through workforce management system evaluations and implementations
- Build and nurture relationships with government stakeholders, including agency directors, HR leaders, and procurement officials
- Contribute to strategy for expanding UKG's impact within the public sector
- Research emerging workforce trends and best practices specific to state and local government operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful outcomes and long-term partnerships with government clients
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience advising government agencies or working in state or local government
- Deep understanding of public sector workforce challenges, operations, and strategic priorities
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence senior leaders
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining professional relationships
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment
