Data Center Security Officer

Securitas is looking for a dedicated Data Center Security Officer to join our team in Jeffersonville, Fayette County. As a full-time security professional, you'll protect critical infrastructure, monitor facility access, and respond to security incidents while working alongside experienced colleagues who value your contributions and support your growth.

About the Role

Data centers are the backbone of modern operations, and the security professionals who protect them are essential. In this role, you'll serve as a vigilant guardian of our facility, maintaining surveillance systems, controlling entry points, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Your awareness, quick thinking, and communication skills will directly impact the safety and integrity of our operations.

What You'll Do

• Monitor security systems, access controls, and closed-circuit cameras throughout the data center facility
• Conduct regular patrols to detect and deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity
• Control and log personnel entry and exit, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor records
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations
• Operate security equipment and technologies with accuracy and attention to detail
• Communicate effectively with facility management, law enforcement, and other departments
• Document incidents, observations, and routine activities in required reports

What We're Looking For

• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess situations and make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliability and strong work ethic; ability to maintain focus during long shifts
• Comfort with technology and systems; experience with security software or monitoring systems a plus
• Physical capability to perform patrols and respond to incidents
• Valid state ID or security license preferred
