About the Role
As a Distribution Center Security Officer, you'll be the frontline protector of a busy logistics operation in the Newark area. Earning $18.41 per hour, you'll receive weekly pay, health, dental, and vision coverage, plus clear opportunities to advance within the company as you build your security career.
What You'll Do
- Monitor entry and exit points to regulate facility access and verify credentials
- Conduct routine patrols throughout the distribution center and perimeter
- Respond to security incidents and document all activities in detailed reports
- Control access to secure areas and enforce security protocols
- Maintain vigilance during assigned shifts to protect assets and personnel
- Coordinate with management and law enforcement when needed
- Support a safe, secure environment for employees and visitors
What We're Looking For
- Delaware State Guard Card (strongly preferred, not required)
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service a plus
- Strong communication and situational awareness
- Professional attitude with commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work scheduled shifts reliably
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
