St. John Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in Pryor Creek, Mayes County. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives during their most critical recovery journey.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse with St. John Rehabilitation Hospital, you'll provide direct patient care in a specialized rehabilitation setting where healing and recovery are our primary focus. You'll work alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team committed to restoring patients' independence and quality of life after surgery, injury, or illness.
What You'll Do
- Deliver compassionate, individualized nursing care to rehabilitation patients throughout their stay
- Assess patient needs, monitor clinical progress, and adjust care plans in collaboration with physicians and therapists
- Administer medications, manage medical equipment, and perform clinical procedures within your scope of practice
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, recovery timelines, and self-care strategies
- Document patient care, observations, and outcomes accurately in our electronic health record system
- Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Current Oklahoma RN license in good standing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based care environment
- Compassion for patients in recovery and commitment to person-centered care
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Physical ability to provide hands-on patient care
