Amentum seeks an Identity Intelligence (I2) Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst (Mid-Level) in Boulder, Boulder County for a full-time position. This role offers the opportunity to drive critical intelligence analysis and threat assessment for U.S. national security operations.
About the Role
As an Identity Intelligence and Counterintelligence Analyst, you will produce advanced intelligence products that inform strategic military and intelligence operations. Your work directly supports decision-making on high-stakes operational matters, from target development to threat mitigation.
What You'll Do
- Build detailed intelligence packages that identify key individuals, threat networks, and targets to inform operational planning
- Conduct network and relationship analysis to map connections, vulnerabilities, and operational opportunities
- Synthesize classified intelligence systems, communications intercepts, and multi-source data into coherent threat assessments
- Support the formulation of intelligence-driven targeting strategies and recommendations for operational commanders
- Identify counterintelligence risks and foreign intelligence threats to friendly operations and personnel
- Author intelligence assessments, briefing papers, and executive summaries for senior defense and intelligence leadership
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of professional experience in intelligence analysis, military intelligence, or counterintelligence work
- Current or eligible Secret-level security clearance (or demonstrated ability to obtain)
- Advanced proficiency with intelligence analysis platforms, classified databases, and analytical research tools
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous intelligence
- Experience writing intelligence products for operational or policy audiences
- Knowledge of military operations, defense doctrine, or national security policy frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in secure, classified work environments
