Accounting Manager

Mehr Consultancy, based in Irving, Dallas, is hiring a full-time Accounting Manager to manage financial operations across our hospitality portfolio. We're looking for a seasoned accounting professional with deep expertise in multi-property hotel environments who brings hands-on leadership to the role.

About the Role

As Accounting Manager at Mehr Consultancy, you'll oversee accounting functions across multiple hotel properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This hands-on position offers a salary range of $60,000–$70,000 and places you at the center of our financial operations, working directly with hotel management teams and the corporate accounting function to support sound business decisions through timely, accurate data.

What You'll Do

• Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures for multiple properties
• Prepare and review financial statements, variance reports, and management reports for hotel operations
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing across the portfolio
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies specific to hotel industry operations
• Collaborate with property managers on budgeting, revenue forecasting, and cost management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and audit procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an Accounting Manager
• Proven expertise in multi-property hotel accounting and hospitality industry operations
• Strong foundation in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work directly with property-level and corporate teams
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (bachelor's degree preferred)
