Stride, Inc. is hiring a Financial Analyst to join our Austin, Travis County office on a full-time basis. You'll be instrumental in translating financial data into strategic insights that drive growth and operational excellence across our organization.
About the Role
As a Financial Analyst at Stride, Inc., you'll partner with multiple business units to understand their financial needs, develop actionable forecasts, and identify opportunities to strengthen profitability. This role combines technical financial modeling with cross-functional collaboration to deliver analysis that shapes business strategy and resource allocation decisions.
What You'll Do
- Analyze financial performance and trends across business units to inform decision-making
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and budgets that forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow
- Gather, validate, and synthesize financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Identify inefficiencies in operations and resource utilization, then recommend targeted improvements
- Monitor actual financial results against forecasts and explain significant variances
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for leadership and business unit stakeholders
- Support strategic planning initiatives with quantitative analysis and scenario modeling
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency with financial analysis tools, spreadsheets, and modeling software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, or financial statements
- Keen interest in operational efficiency and continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
