Selene Diligence
Selene Diligence is hiring a full-time Modification Fulfillment Specialist at our US locations to help borrowers navigate loan modifications and support our mortgage servicing operations. This role combines technical documentation expertise with customer service focus to process and fulfill modification requests efficiently and accurately.
About the Role
As a Modification Fulfillment Specialist with Selene Diligence, you'll manage the end-to-end lifecycle of loan modification requests. You'll work directly with borrowers, internal teams, and lenders to gather required documentation, verify submission completeness, and ensure timely processing of modifications according to company and regulatory guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Process and track incoming modification requests from borrowers and manage status updates throughout the request lifecycle
- Review and verify that all required documentation is submitted completely and accurately before passing to underwriting
- Communicate with borrowers via phone, email, and mail to request additional information and explain modification timelines and requirements
- Coordinate with internal departments including underwriting, servicing, and title to ensure smooth modification fulfillment
- Maintain detailed records in our systems and prepare accurate modification files for submission to investors
- Monitor modification deadlines and identify bottlenecks to meet service level agreements
- Support compliance with mortgage industry regulations and company policies throughout the modification process
What We're Looking For
- Experience in mortgage servicing, loan processing, or a related financial services role
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication for interacting with borrowers and colleagues
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document review and data entry
- Proficiency with customer relationship management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of mortgage and loan modification basics
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
