Entry Level Outside Sales Representative – Geo Stormwater

About the Role

As an Entry Level Outside Sales Representative, you'll spend your time in the field and on calls, connecting customers with stormwater solutions that keep infrastructure projects moving forward. This role combines direct customer engagement with territory development, giving you hands-on experience in outside sales while representing Ferguson's quality product lines to decision-makers in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

What You'll Do

• Develop and nurture relationships with contractors, engineers, builders, and municipal customers in your territory
• Present stormwater products and solutions tailored to customer project requirements
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand your customer base within the Geo Stormwater market
• Understand customer needs and recommend products that ensure project success and compliance
• Communicate product specifications, availability, and delivery options to support purchasing decisions
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and technical teams to fulfill customer orders
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
• Travel to job sites and customer locations to build relationships and understand on-site needs

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or construction industry experience a plus
• Genuine interest in sales and customer relationship building
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your territory
• Willingness to travel and spend substantial time in the field
• Professional demeanor and reliability
• Basic computer and CRM system proficiency
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
