US Foods, a leading foodservice distributor, is hiring a full-time Fleet & Facility Operations Manager to oversee our Lehigh Valley, Northampton County distribution center. You'll lead fleet maintenance, facility systems, and hub operations while ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across all equipment and infrastructure.
About the Role
This full-time position requires you to manage all aspects of fleet and facility operations at our Lehigh Valley location. You'll drive safe, compliant operations while optimizing equipment performance and facility systems to support our distribution network and customers throughout the region.
What You'll Do
- Supervise fleet maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance schedules, repairs, diagnostics, and vehicle lifecycle planning
- Oversee facility systems, utilities, safety infrastructure, and operational housekeeping standards
- Manage domicile and hub functions to ensure reliable, compliant service delivery
- Establish and enforce safety protocols, compliance procedures, and operational standards aligned with regulatory requirements
- Monitor equipment performance metrics, maintenance costs, and operational budgets to drive continuous improvement
- Lead, train, and develop team members with a focus on safety culture and accountability
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and operations with distribution center leadership and support functions
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce downtime
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience managing fleet operations, facility maintenance, or distribution center operations
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, facility systems, and safety compliance in transportation environments
- Proven team leadership and staff development experience
- Solid understanding of equipment maintenance tracking, scheduling systems, and operational software
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
