About the Role
As a Property Maintenance Technician at our Lake Buena Vista resort, you'll be the backbone of our operational excellence. This hands-on position keeps our guestrooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces looking and functioning beautifully. You'll take pride in maintaining spaces where families create lasting vacation moments.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest accommodations, ensuring all fixtures, appliances, and amenities work flawlessly
- Keep public areas, lobbies, hallways, and recreational spaces clean, well-maintained, and guest-ready
- Address maintenance requests promptly and complete work orders accurately
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and guest disruptions
- Maintain back-of-house areas, storage rooms, and staff spaces to operational standards
- Report maintenance needs and equipment issues to supervisors for timely resolution
- Use maintenance tools and equipment safely and responsibly
What We're Looking For
- Experience with general maintenance, repairs, or custodial work in hospitality or similar environments
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to maintenance needs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards
- Reliable transportation and availability for a full-time schedule
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
