CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift

Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a part-time CNC Machinist for second shift work at our location in New Salem Borough, York County. This position offers the opportunity to work with precision machinery on a consistent, Monday through Friday evening schedule.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our second shift team. This part-time role operates Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM, with opportunities for optional overtime if interested. You will operate and maintain CNC equipment to produce precision components to exact specifications and quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Operate CNC machinery to fabricate precision parts and components
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Set up machines, adjust tooling, and establish proper cutting parameters
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections to verify dimensional accuracy
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production workspace
• Address equipment issues and assist with routine maintenance tasks

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• PA State Approved Journeyman Machinist certification or Journeyman Tool & Die Makers certification
• Hands-on experience operating CNC machines in production settings
• Strong focus on precision, accuracy, and quality craftsmanship
• Dependable, safety-conscious work ethic
• Reliable transportation for consistent attendance

Compensation and Schedule

This part-time position offers hourly compensation ranging from $25 to $35 per hour, determined by your experience and professional credentials. Shifts run Monday through Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM, with optional overtime shifts available.
