Senior Manager, Manufacturing Quality

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Quality to lead quality operations at our Priceville, Morgan County facility. In this role, you'll drive manufacturing excellence and oversee quality strategy for one of the U.S. appliance industry's most dynamic operations.

About the Role

As Senior Manager of Manufacturing Quality, you'll own all aspects of quality assurance, control, and continuous improvement across the plant. You'll report directly to plant leadership and serve as a key strategic partner in ensuring our products meet the highest standards while driving operational efficiency and cost reduction.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a quality team, setting performance expectations and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
• Establish and maintain quality systems, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
• Oversee incoming material inspection, in-process quality audits, and final product testing
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action processes to eliminate defects and systemic issues
• Implement and track quality metrics, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and key performance indicators
• Lead supplier quality management initiatives to ensure consistent material standards
• Champion continuous improvement programs including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry certifications, and regulatory standards
• Manage quality budgets and resource allocation effectively

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of manufacturing quality management experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record leading quality teams and driving measurable quality improvements
• Deep knowledge of quality systems, statistical analysis, and process control methods
• Experience with appliance, consumer products, or discrete manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of customer requirements, compliance standards, and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and supply chain
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Effective communication and team leadership abilities
